Kiger Cougar
by Jennifer Kuipers

I did not personally adopt Kiger Cougar, but I was his primary trainer for several years while he was at the Kentucky Horse Park. He is a 1989 dun Kiger Mustang adopted by Bobby Ingersol (then of CA) who after campaigning in working cow horse with Cougar donated him to the Park.

I trained Cougar to ride bridleless and sidesaddle. He was very easy to train, loved working, and at the time was a stallion and if you didn't know, you'd think he was a gelding. Cougar and I had a special bond! I have lots of pictures of him (conformation, being ridden sidesaddle, and bridleless.). If you are interested in seeing or using any, please email me! I'd love to share more about him!
